Each trimester, the Outstanding Graduate prize will be awarded to the full-time student who achieves the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) over all in the Diploma and Foundation Programs in thier final trimester plus meets the prize criteria for outstanding graduate.
Please note this award is separate to the Dean's Merit Award.
Eligibility
UTS College will review student results at the end of each trimester and notify you if you are the recipient of a prize, ahead of the Graduation Ceremony. Criteria for receiving this prize includes:
- Highest GPA
- Highest attendance
- Outstanding participation in class
- Engagement in the wider college (Peer mentoring, Peer Helper, Student Representative Group, Volunteering, University Clubs, Student activities etc.)
Notification of Prize Winners
Recipients of these prizes are notified by the Dean of Studies.
UTS College may vary, suspend or withdraw any scholarship, prize or award at its discretion without prior notice. Changes may take immediate effect and include adjustments to eligibility, selection, value, benefits, application processes, or full discontinuation.
Students who have formally accepted an award for the current academic period will not be affected, provided they continue to meet all eligibility and compliance requirements.
Prize award process and dates
The UTS College Outstanding Graduate Prize will be awarded at the UTS College Graduation.
The UTS College Graduation is a celebration of the completion of your studies at UTS College with fellow students, family and friends. It is a formal event held after you have completed your studies in the Diploma program, Graduate Certificate, and UTS Foundation Studies.
