Moving to a Diploma program at UTS College

Attend an Essential Information transfer session

An Essential Information Session will help you get everything ready for the next stage of your study journey. Find out about the transfer process from start to finish, and the steps you need to take along the way

Your Transfer Session will cover what to expect, and any steps you need to take in relation to:

  • your future program structure
  • choosing subjects (if your program allows for this)
  • applying for credit from previous studies
  • enrolling
  • important dates.

Student Success Advisers conduct Transfer Sessions during the final semester of your program.

Get your UTS Foundation Studies results

You can progress to a UTS College diploma or UTS degree once you’ve successfully completed your UTS Foundation Studies and received your results.

Enrol in your Diploma program

Find out what you need to do before you enrol, program enrolment dateshow to enrol, study loads, recognition of prior learning, pre-requisites and co-requisites.

Attend Welcome Week

We strongly recommend attending Welcome Week for a smooth transition into your diploma

Welcome Week activities are carefully crafted to set you up for academic success. It’s your chance to learn all the important things about your program, meet your teachers, complete academic and wellbeing activities, get familiar with your academic program and what you’ll learn. You’ll meet fellow students – many also new to UTS College – and find out where everything is on campus. You can also join a range of fun activities to help you settle in and begin making friends.

What to do if I don’t get the required results for my chosen program?

If you don’t achieve the GPA needed to go directly to UTS for a particular undergraduate degree, you may continue studying toward your degree through the relevant UTS College diploma.

If you have questions about your results, please see a Student Success Adviser. They can discuss your study plan and help you find the options and support available to you.

What to do if I get higher results than expected?

Congratulations on your result, this means that your hard work has paid off. Your high achievement sets you up for success at UTS.

Moving to UTS

You’ll find information about starting at UTS on the Articulation to UTS page and 'Starting at UTS'.
