Step 1: Submit your diploma application

Complete your application for a UTS College diploma online via the student portal.

Hint: you’ll also need to upload supporting documentation including:

  • Your transcript of studies showing subjects and result
  • Completion certificate (if completed)
  • A copy of the grading scale (if available)
  • Copy of Australian passport, birth certificate, Australian citizenship certificate or visa 
  • Any other relevant documentation to support your application
 

There is no application fee.

Step 2: Accept your diploma offer

Congratulations on receiving your full offer from UTS College!

There are a few steps you need to take to accept your full offer via the Student Application Portal.

  1. Log in to the Student Application Portal
    1. If you are over 18 years, you can accept your offer without any further documentation required.
    2. If you are under 18 years, you and your parent or legal guardian will need to sign and date the Acceptance form found on page 10 of your offer letter. Print, scan, and attach the form in the Portal*.
  2. Set up your Unique Student Identifier (USI) before accepting your offer. This should take less than five minutes and you will need to upload a legal ID to do this.
  3. Choose your payment option:
    1. Upfront payment (available to all students).
    2. Defer payment of fees via FEE-HELP. This is available to eligible domestic students only. Please read the FEE-HELP Q&A section in your offer letter before making your decision.
  4. Complete the five (5) mandatory government statistics questions that appear in the Student Application Portal. You will need to answer these to proceed with your acceptance.
  5. You are now ready to accept your offer! Select the accept button in the portal. The status of your application will change to offer accepted pending confirmation.
  6. Activate your UTS email account the next day (up to 24 hours) after accepting your offer.
 

*If you are under 18 years, you can provide your signed Acceptance form by:

  • uploading the signed and scanned form in the Student Application Portal, or
  • emailing the signed and scanned form back to us by replying to our offer email, or
  • posting the signed form to us at PO Box K1085 Haymarket, NSW 1240.

Congratulations on receiving your conditional offer – proceed to accept from UTS College!

    1. If you are over 18 years, you can accept your offer by supplying any outstanding documentation as outlined on page 2 of your offer letter.
    2. If you are under 18 years, you will also need to upload the Acceptance form found on page 10 of your offer letter in addition to any outstanding documentation. Both you and your parent or legal guardian will need to sign and date the form. Print, scan, and attach the form in the Portal*.
  2. Set up your Unique Student Identifier (USI) before accepting your offer. This should take less than five minutes and you will need to upload a legal ID to do this.
  3. Choose your payment option:

  5. Upload any outstanding certified documents that you have not yet supplied for your application (e.g. birth certificate). You will find a list of these documents on page 2 of your offer letter. You can also bring your documents into the Student Centre to be certified.
  6. You are now ready to accept your offer! Select the accept button in the portal. The status of your application will change to offer accepted pending confirmation.
  7. Activate your UTS email account the next day (up to 24 hours) after accepting your offer.

Step 3: Applying for FEE-HELP

Once your UTS email is activated, you can apply for FEE-HELP by logging into eStudent, using your student number (found on page 1 of your offer letter) and your new UTS email password.
  1. Make sure you have your Unique Student Identifier (USI) and Tax File Number ready.
  2. Log in into eStudent to complete the Electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF) to apply for FEE-HELP. See instructions on how to fill in the eCAF and apply for FEE-HELP.
  3. For more information on FEE-HELP, refer to your offer letter.
