The Diploma of Information Technology is designed in collaboration with UTS Information Technology, which means you will be learning the same content as first year students at UTS.
On successful completion of the diploma you will be eligible for direct entry* into the second year of the UTS Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

Modes of study
This course is delivered full time and face-to-face in scheduled classes. The course is also delivered Live Online in exceptional circumstances such as the current pandemic.

Assessment methods in the Diploma of IT include quizzes (multiple-choice, calculations, open-ended questions); presentations (group and individual): written case studies; written reports; written assignments; skills tests; lab tests; practical tests; SQL scripts; projects; reflective journal; mid-semester tests and final exams (multiple-choice, calculations, and open-ended questions).
