Student Success Advisers
If you’re experiencing issues that are affecting your studies, contact a Student Success Adviser. They’ll work with you to help you stay on track. They may also refer you to the welfare team or UTS counselling service, depending on your circumstances.
Academic students: 1pm till 4pm Monday to Friday.
English language students: 10:30am–12:00pm and 1pm–3pm Monday to Friday.
UTS counselling service
If you’re experiencing stress, psychological or emotional issues, counsellors provide confidential counselling at no cost. They can also help you develop effective learning strategies and study skills.
The main UTS Counselling Service is located on Level 6 of the UTS Tower Building for appointments on Monday, Wednesday - Friday.
We recommend that you contact our Student Success Advisers and they will put you in contact with a counselling professional.

Get enough sleep
Sleeping well is good for your brain and body. It helps you feel energised, stay focused and protect your mental health -
Eat well
Eating well can improve your mood, energy levels and general health and wellbeing. Fill up on nutritious food (like vegetables, fruit, and whole grains) and drink plenty of water. -
Stay active
Staying active can help you sleep better, manage stress, and boost your mood. Get involved in some of these sport and recreation activities on and off campus. -
Connect
Spending time with other students, friends, and your community can help strengthen your mental health and wellbeing. -
Avoid unhealthy habits
You’ll sleep better, feel better, and keep a healthy headspace if you avoid alcohol and cigarettes.
