The Diploma of Engineering is your starting point if you want to study the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at UTS. The course allows successful students to FAST TRACK into the second year of study at UTS. Students who successfully complete the course move forward with an understanding of the practical applications for engineering, along with the skills to communicate professionally and ethically in engineering environments.

This course is delivered full time and face-to-face in scheduled on-campus classes.

Assessment methods in the Diploma of Engineering include quizzes (multiple-choice, calculations, open-ended questions); presentations (group and individual); written case studies; written reports; written assignments; skills tests; lab tests; practical tests; SQL scripts; projects; reflective journal; mid-semester tests and final exams (multiple-choice, calculations, and open-ended questions).
