UTS College celebrates the Class of 2024!

UTS College celebrates the Class of 2024!

In what is arguably the biggest annual event in the UTS College calendar, the College celebrated the Class of 2024 Graduation Ceremony at the UTS Great Hall on Tuesday 29 April 2025. Students from diploma, UTS Foundation Studies and graduate certificate programs who had completed their studies in 2024, donned their caps and gowns to celebrate this very special occasion with family and friends.

Formal speeches from Morwenna Shahani, CEO of UTS College, who gave the opening address, and Professor Kylie Readman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Education and Students) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), who gave the concluding remarks, provided a deep sense of occasion.

Inspirational words were also offered in speeches from Outstanding Graduate Award winner, Jinyang (Levi) Liu, representing the Outstanding Graduate Award winners for both diploma and UTS Foundation Studies across all 2024 semesters, and alumna and Ambassador, Kyara Aradiel, representing articulated students at UTS, moved and encouraged the graduating class in their journey to UTS and beyond.

The on-stage presenters also conducted themselves with aplomb throughout proceedings, including David Hurlow, Student Services and HELPS Centre Lead, who acted as Master of Ceremonies, and Jason West, Director of Studies, English Language Teaching, who announced all graduates to the stage, along with all UTS College Program Managers who presented the graduates' certificates for their respective programs.

Not to be forgotten, behind the scenes, the Events team, Student Experience team, and a band of volunteers worked hard to ensure the smooth delivery of both the live and online streaming activities throughout the event.

A big congratulations to everyone involved! Official photos from the ceremony can be found in our online photo library.
