Closure of 609 Harris Street campus
From Semester 1, 2024, our 609 Harris Street campus location will be closed.
When does the 609 Harris Street campus close?
609 Harris Street is closed from Semester 1, 2024. Students in the Diploma of Design and Architecture and the Diploma of Animation Production will attend the UTS Building 5 campus.
Why is the 609 Harris Street campus closing?
UTS College has made the decision not to renew the lease for 609 Harris Street. This is because we now operate from the UTS Building 5 campus, which has been purposefully refitted to be highly suitable for teaching of all diplomas, and contains both classrooms and labs. The Building 5 campus is also home to the Student Centre, HELPS Centre and ITDS Service Desk, plus onsite UTS security.
Where will the Diploma of Architecture & Design and Diploma of Animation Production be taught?
All other diploma and graduate certificate programs are taught in our Building 5 campus. The Diploma of Architecture & Design and Diploma of Animation Production will also be moved to the B5 campus. This enables all students to interact with each other, improving connection and collaboration, and allowing the creation of a unified and consolidated campus experience.
