Enjoying learning and discovering new knowledge
“I’m studying the Diploma of Engineering at UTS College, and everything has been quite good so far. I would describe this way of learning as ‘independent’, with the most important factor being self-study. The pre-tutorial work is extremely essential for students, so that we can apply that to our lessons.
“The pre-tutorial and between tutorial work has allowed me to dive deep into the lesson and understand it in my own way. Moreover, I have been able to develop my self-study skills that I use to prepare for lessons every week. You need to know what you want to improve and decide on your method of study.
“As an international student, English language is the biggest difficulty for me. I needed a lot of time to adapt to this new enviroment, which is full of new language, and I am still facing some challenges related to language.
“My grades have been good so far and are still improving. This method of learning is very fair. My grades and outcomes depend on enjoying learning and discovering new knowledge. The more students love what they are studying, the more they will get from the learning process, such as good grades and other achievements.”
