UTS College has joined forces with global education agent IDP to open a new IELTS Testing Centre on the UTS CBD campus. This means test takers can now take the world’s most trusted English language test at UTS College.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assesses four key language skills – listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Over three million people take IELTS every year, most commonly preparing for work, study, or migration. The test is accepted by more than 11,000 employers, universities, schools, and immigration bodies around the world.

The partnership between UTS College and IDP is based on a shared commitment to the highest standards in testing. UTS College has extensive expertise delivering Academic English programs to more than 20,000 students over the last ten years in Sydney, and close to 40,000 students worldwide.

Results in 3-5 days
The first test took place on 24 November 2022 at the centre’s dedicated computer lab. Completing IELTS on computer allows test takers to get their results faster (in 3-5 days). They can also access UTS College preparation courses and IDP resources for further support.
