Joining student activities is a great way for students to feel part of a community and make friends. During COVID this has been particularly challenging for all international students. At UTS Insearch through initiatives such as the Peer Mentor program and our online activities the aim has been to create opportunities for our students to connect.
Face to face student activities
Due to student demand, and following Australian Government Department of Health advice, we are bringing back some face to face activities to Sydney campus. We are starting with the popular social events such as the weekly Board Game club, basketball and table tennis from 12 November onwards. We will be following COVID-safety guidelines and students will need to book ahead to join. We will continue to monitor government guidelines which may result in reducing these activities or adding more – we hope!!!

Along with the popular online gaming club we are opening two new weekly online clubs:
Both these proved very popular during Orientation week and is a great opportunity for students all around the world to join, whether they are studying English, Foundation or Diploma programs

Over the coming weeks our teachers are working with our students on the types of clubs and activities they would like to have. If your students have ideas and requests, or you do, please forward them through to Student.activities@insearch.edu.au
