Physical Modelling

SPHY001

Physical Modelling lays the foundation for engineering and the physical sciences with topics that cover classical mechanics, oscillations and waves, fluids, electricity, and thermal physics. The subject explores these concepts in the context of current technology and engineering. It equips the student with general knowledge and skills in physics, together with practical application of this knowledge extending the student’s problem-solving capabilities to the physical world. The subject further introduces the experimental and measurement techniques, data analysis methods used in engineering.
