The table below outlines the computer hardware and software you need for your Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) to study Business, Communication, English Language, Information Technology, Science, UTS Cambridge Accelerator or UTS Foundation Studies at UTS College.
Please note that mobile phones, Chromebooks and tablets are not suitable to use on their own for self-study, online resources or exams. Most class materials and systems are designed for laptop use. Make sure you also bring your laptop (along with your headphones and battery pack) to campus.

Smartphone Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Mobile operating systems supported for MFA at UTS College:
UTS College systems use Multi-Factor Authentication to protect you from cybercrime. You will need a smartphone with an operating system that is supported by our identity provider, Okta, to respond to multi factor requests. Check here to confirm if you have the right operating system to download the Okta Verify app. The current minimum versions are provided on the OKTA website.
