About the scholarships

We’re giving young, high-achieving international students the opportunity to achieve a prestigious scholarship award towards our Cambridge International AS and A Levels program in 2027.

This is an exceptional opportunity for Year 10 students with a strong academic record, who seek a life-changing educational experience abroad and who are ready to start their journey in 2027!

You need to be quick – scholarships are limited and applications are essential.

Value

We're offering two award categories:

The Global Scholar Award: 100% of your first-year tuition fees (value approx. A$39,000). Two available globally.

The Excellence Award: 50% of your first-year tuition fees (value approx. A$19,500). Six available globally.

Guidelines for application

This scholarship application requires you to submit a personal statement consisting of:

  • written responses to three questions outlined on the application form
  • a one-minute video (in English) explaining why you should receive this scholarship.

Scholarship deadline

Applications are open until Monday 31 August 2026*.
Places are limited - apply early!
*This scholarship offer will close once award allocations are exhausted.

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • be an international student (i.e. not an Australian citizen or New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand) from one of the following listed countries:
    • People’s Republic of China
    • Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, The Philippines, Brunei, Taiwan, Hong Kong (SAR), Macau, South Korea, Mongolia, Japan, Nepal or Bangladesh.
  • meet all entry requirements of the UTS College Cambridge International AS and A Levels program, apply for, and receive an offer letter (includes conditional offers) to commence the program in January 2027.
  • meet the academic requirements for scholarship eligibility. Ask your agent for details.
  • apply using the scholarship application form
  • if shortlisted, be available to attend an interview (online or in person) with the Scholarship Selection Committee.

Terms and Conditions

  • The scholarship applies to Year 1 (AS Level) only and is applied from Semester 2.
  • Students must accept their course offer within the specified timeframe.
  • The scholarship offer is void if the student fails to meet the enrolment deadline for the course applied.
  • Students who achieve the Cambridge International Global Scholar (100% scholarship) or Excellence Award (50% scholarship) may be eligible for the Cambridge International Gateway Scholarship in the second year (A Level) of the program if they meet the academic conditions upon completion of first year (AS Level). Please refer to full Ts&Cs for details.
  • This scholarship is not redeemable in cash and is non-transferable.
  • This scholarship is valid for both packaged programs with UTS or the standalone UTS College Cambridge International AS and A Levels Program (2-year course).
  • Students who do not proceed to A Level (Year 2) are not eligible for the Cambridge International Gateway Scholarship.
