
Admissions and Enrolments Frequently Asked Questions
Enrolment for Semester 3 closes 20 September 2024. If they enrol late, they must seek approval from the Dean of Studies. If approved, there is a $150 late fee.
- No, we enrol English Language students on their behalf. However, English Language students must be on campus for their orientation.
- On-campus enrolment only applies to students enrolling in an academic course for the first time e.g. studying a diploma, UTS Foundation Studies, Graduate Certificate (Pre-Master's) or the new UTS Cambridge Accelerator.
- If a student is progressing from English to an academic program, they will need to enrol on-campus for that academic program.
Enrolment
- Requires the student to enrol in their subjects and set up their class timetable.
- Students can't attend orientation without enrolling first.
Orientation:
- This follows the week after enrolment closes and is an introduction to the student's program, UTS College services, teachers and classmates.
- Welcome Week is orientation for academic students.
- Welcome and Orientation is orientation for English Language students.
Admitted/Admission:
- This is where a student has met the entry requirements and is successfully admitted into their program.
- Students are only admitted once into their program.

Re-enrolment
- Re-enrolment is for a student continuing their academic program and selecting subjects for the next semester. They re-enrol after they’ve completed their first semester and progress to any subsequent semesters.
