The UTS Scholarship for European Undergraduate Students supports international European students completing a diploma or UTS Foundation Studies at UTS College in Sydney or offshore, who wish to complete their undergraduate or postgraduate study at UTS in Sydney.
About the scholarship
This scholarship is available to UTS Foundation Studies or Diploma students from Europe who enrol in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney from July (Spring session) 2026 to November (Summer session) 2028.
UTS Spring 2026 to Summer 2028 intakes: 40% off tuition fees.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must meet the following:
- remain an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia); and
- be a citizen of a country in the European region; and
- commence full-time studies and on campus at UTS; and
- meet UTS admission criteria for the selected UTS coursework program; and
- successfully complete one of the following UTS College programs and be admitted to UTS on the basis of this qualification to UTS:
- UTS Foundation Studies; or
- Diploma; and
- commence studies in a UTS undergraduate degree in the next available intake after completion of one of the above UTS College programs; and
- be admitted into an UTS coursework intake between Spring session 2026 to Summer session 2028; and
Must not:

be studying a UTS online degree or distance mode degree; or

be based in Australia (must be based offshore) prior to commencement at UTS, unless the student is onshore completing a UTS College Diploma or Foundation Studies qualification; or

be a recipient of other UTS International scholarships or grants or the UTS Alumni Advantage Program for the duration of this Scholarship.
Terms and conditions

Eligible international students will be considered for this scholarship upon completion at UTS College.
- Students receiving the UTS Scholarship for European Undergraduate Students will no longer be eligible to receive the UTS College to UTS Transfer Scholarship.
Selection process
- Acceptance of the UTS undergraduate program (including payment of deposit required).
How to apply
UTS Future Learner Recruitment and Admissions will automatically consider all commencing European international students applying for an undergraduate program at UTS in Sydney for this scholarship. There is no separate scholarship application or documentation in addition to what is required for the course application.
