UTS Insearch’s Director of Indonesia Development, Mariam Kartikatresni was honoured to be among the invited business leaders to meet the Hon. Scott Morrison, Prime Minister of Australia and Mrs Jenny Morrison at a special Lunch with Australian and Indonesian business community event, held at the Australian Embassy on 20 October 2019.
The Prime Minister was in Indonesia to attend the inauguration of the Indonesian President elect, Joko Widodo.
UTS Insearch was invited as a representative of the education sector due to its innovative engagement activities in Indonesia. The education sector is a strategically important area in the bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Australia.
Each year, UTS Insearch welcomes many Indonesian students to its programs in Sydney and Jakarta, where they complete UTS Foundation Studies, a diploma or English Language programs in preparation for studying at UTS in Sydney.
