Higher Education Language and Presentation Support (HELPS) provides English language and academic support. 

HELPS provides individual and group support in a friendly, encouraging environment, helping students develop the English language and academic understanding to reach their study and career goals. 

Join the Buddy program 

Get peer support from the Buddy Program or volunteer to support international students, make friends and gain volunteer hours. You can even learn a second language when you take part in the language exchange. 

 

UTS College – the pathway to UTS

Many students choose to start their UTS journey by enrolling at UTS College, where they develop the knowledge, skills and experience to succeed in their university study and beyond. It’s a first-year university experience with a difference, with the same practice-based approach to learning as UTS, in a nurturing environment with smaller class sizes and a high level of individual support. Student can select from a range of academic programs and can often fast-track into their second year of study at UTS, depending on their grades and the course they’ve chosen.
