A fun way to study

“I think Learning.Connected can be divided into three steps. In the first step, I focus on the information that I need to build and work on. In the second step, I pick up the basic concepts and knowledge points. The third step for me is to clarify the information and integrate it. I find making mind maps really useful to help me connect ideas and information, and build my own knowledge system. This way of learning really helps me cultivate that, and revising helps improve my memory.

“I found it hard at the beginning. It was a challenge to study in this way. But I have found that it has helped my understanding of the subjects and my ability to review the information I need. It has really helped me in my study and work, and now I call it a ‘fun way to study’ because you can use just about any method to help you revise what you need to learn – you can draw a picture or mind map, or watch a video or answer a quiz.

“Using Canvas is a great way to connect with the school, the other students and the teachers – and students can give their feedback to teachers as well. I’m very satisfied with this way of learning; it’s convenient, easy to contact teachers via email, and check what I need to do for the week. I can quickly access the content I need at any time. I am really happy that I persisted.”
