From 20 to 22 May, UTS and UTS College hosted an engaging three-day familiarisation (FAM) Tour for 52 agent counsellors from Southeast Asia and Central Asia.
Led by the UTS College team, the program showcased the strong joint collaboration between UTS and UTS College, with notable enthusiasm from agents, who participated to gain a deeper understanding of College programs and the student experience.
The tour began with an immersive introduction to UTS on Day 1, starting with a visit to the Faculty of Design and Society. Counsellors took part in a hands-on animation workshop, experiencing UTS’s interactive and practice-based approach to learning firsthand, before concluding the day with a session on the Cambridge International program followed by the Cambridge Celebration Evening.
Day 2 focused on academic pathways and student outcomes, with sessions on admissions and the Pre-Master’s Program. This was followed by visits to the Faculty of Business and Law, alongside a career-focused session highlighting student employability. The day also featured an inspiring look into innovation and entrepreneurship through UTS Startups.
On Day 3, agents explored UTS’ cutting-edge facilities within the Faculty of Engineering and IT, including the Data Arena, an AI workshop, and the ProtoSpace. The experience continued with a hands-on science workshop and a tour of the university’s modern Health and Nursing facilities, showcasing the breadth of practical and industry-ready learning environments available to students.
The three-day FAM Tour provided agents with a dynamic and comprehensive experience, strengthening partnerships and equipping agents with valuable insights to confidently represent UTS and UTS College to future students.
