Canvas shutdown - important notice to students

Canvas has been shut down globally and is unavailable for learning activities until further notice.

What does this mean for you?

  • Canvas access is unavailable at this time (including via the Canvas app on your phone).
  • Classes will continue as normal.
  • We will provide further updates as more information becomes available

What do I need to do?

  • Do not attempt to log in to Canvas.
  • Do not click on any suspicious links.
  • Be alert for phishing or scam emails or messages, particularly those claiming to be from UTS College or Canvas and asking you to log in, reset passwords, or confirm a data breach.
  • Official UTS College emails are only sent from @utscollege.edu.au or @insearch.edu.au addresses.
  • Report anything suspicious to ITDS Service Desk via:
