Zijin (Cici) Gao joined the UTS Insearch UTS Foundation Studies in March 2020 and is currently taking classes at UTS Insearch via remote learning.
"Without teachers to push you to study, remote learning demands greater discipline from students than in-person study might," she said.
"During this time, UTS Insearch teachers are offering online homework help for students, and I can get one-on-one tutoring help from my Study Success Adviser, which has been very helpful in solving some of my study questions.""
I just matriculated [from school] in March of this year, so I am still a new student. While I can’t meet my classmates one-on-one like I would be able to if we were all on campus, I’ve been able to make friendships through our ‘cloud classroom.’ I’m really looking forward to meeting my classmates in person, hopefully soon."
